Chimassorb-81 UV InhibitorUltraviolet ray inhibitor is an excellent additive if you've had problems in the past with your candles fading, or if you're just getting started and want your first masterpiece to retain its color for a long time. Our custom-blended UV inhibitor protects from both UV-A and UV-B rays; a must if you do outside craft shows or have your candles displayed under fluorescent lights. This product comes in small flake form and is used very sparingly. We use about 1/8 of one teaspoon per pound of soy wax. While it is pale yellow in color, this does very little to change the color of your completed candle. |
