After looking around at all sorts of shopping carts and checkout systems, we have devised what we think is the best way for our customers to place their orders. If you haven't noticed already, we do things a little differently here than most places. We try to offer services in a way that will help our customers save money and have a better overall experience. This means that we manually calculate the shipping weight for each individual order. We don't want an automated system that overcharges you for shipping. For example, if you order some fragrance oil and another item, most shopping carts would process this as at least two boxes. When we get your order through our server, we will combine as much as possible in a single box to save you money. We can't always ship everything in one box due to obvious space limitations and concern for product integrity, but we will always try to combine your merchandise in as few boxes as possible. That's the long explanation of why you don't see shipping charges on your order. If you want to know the approximate shipping charge for your order, please don't hesitate to e-mail us with your prospective order information. When you go to check out, you will see a screen that will show what you have ordered, and you will have a chance to change quantities as well as return to our site to continue shopping. (NOTE: Your browser must support cookies for the shopping cart to work.) After you have finalized your order, you will send the order to us before submitting any payment. You can also specify in the Special Instructions / Comments area if there is a need for any special order treatment such as: Next Day Air shipping or any other alternative to standard UPS Ground Service. IF YOU ARE PAYING BY VISA OR MASTERCARD, YOU CAN ENTER YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION SAFELY ON OUR SECURE SERVER. IF YOU ARE PAYING BY CASH, CHECK, MONEY ORDER OR PAYPAL, WE WILL E-MAIL YOU WITH PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS. YOU MAY ALSO CALL US AT 1 (502) 863-4611 TO PUT YOUR ORDER ON YOUR VISA OR MASTERCARD. PLEASE NOTE: Charges to your credit card, in addition to PayPal transactions, will be shown as "Walnut Ridge General Store". Don't worry, this is us. We operate as a division of Walnut Ridge General Store (our "parent" company) and process credit cards under this merchant account. Due to processing costs involved, our minimum order amount for credit cards is $10.00 before shipping charges are added. Your order will remain active for 48 hours after we send a PayPal payment request. If this time has passed and you have not paid for your merchandise, we reserve the right to make it available as stock again. This is due to the large volume of merchandise we carry and sell, as well as the special sale prices we may have on particular items. All orders being paid for by check or Money Order will remain active for 7 calendar days after we notify you of your order total. |
